Tommy Jackson

Dr. Tommy Jackson holds a Ph.D. in Adult Education with a specialization in Higher Education Administration, an M.Ed. in Adult Education, a BA in Public Administration from Auburn University, as well as an MBA and MPA from Kennesaw State University. He will finish his law degree in December 2023. He sits for the bar in February 2024. Dr. Jackson is an Assistant Professor of Higher Education Administration and College Student Affairs at the University of West Georgia, currently engaged in a research fellowship with an Atlanta law firm.

Before embarking on his career in academia, Dr. Jackson spent three years as a professional athlete in the National Football League. Drawing upon his unique experiences, he transitioned into the field of education, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a passion for empowering others. Prior to his current role, Dr. Jackson served as the Director of Advising Services at Kennesaw State University, where he introduced and oversaw the development of an exceptional academic support program for the university’s football team.

Utilizing his academic pursuits, Dr. Jackson has actively engaged with local governments, collaborating closely to address various challenges, offer data-driven solutions, and provide prompt responses to inquiries. One of Dr. Jackson’s key strengths lie in cultivating robust partnerships with local government bodies throughout the country. This invaluable network serves as a valuable resource for corporations seeking alcohol licensing, as Dr. Jackson’s well-established relationships enable smoother processes and enhanced outcomes. His approach has proven highly effective in successfully assisting corporations with their licensing needs. His collaborative approach with local governments has assisted clients in securing alcohol licenses nationwide.
